Entropia explores the tension between accumulation and structure. A dense field of marks spreads across the thin raw canvas, creating a surface that appears active, unstable and continuously evolving. Against this proliferation, darker geometric forms introduce moments of interruption and attempted order.
Working with marker and charcoal on thin raw canvas, I allow the different materials to behave according to their own qualities: the marker builds an insistent visual rhythm, while charcoal creates heavier, less controlled interventions. The untreated canvas remains visible and physically present, rather than functioning simply as a neutral support.
The work reflects my interest in systems that move between organisation and instability. Here, entropy is not understood simply as disorder, but as a process in which structures are continuously challenged, transformed and temporarily redefined.
