Apocalyptic Garden explores a landscape suspended between growth and collapse. Forms, signs and fragments accumulate across the surface like elements of an unstable ecosystem, where structures emerge, overlap and dissolve without settling into a fixed order.
The work is created on thin, unprimed raw canvas, allowing the materials to interact directly with its exposed fibres. Gouache, marker and pen are absorbed and interrupted by the weave, while thread shifts between drawn line and physical presence, penetrating and subtly disrupting the surface.
The garden is not represented as an idyllic or controlled space, but as a living system under pressure—proliferating, adapting and continuously reorganising itself. Here, rupture is not necessarily an act of destruction. It becomes a condition for transformation, where order and disorder, fragility and resilience, construction and collapse coexist.
