Scribbling is one of our earliest forms of expression. Before we learn to write, draw or give meaning to images, we make marks. We move our hands, follow impulses and leave traces of our presence. In *Linguaggi Umani*, I explore scribbling as a physical, instinctive form of human language, one that exists beyond words and does not necessarily need to communicate a specific meaning. Each artwork originates from the physical sensation of a human action or behaviour — screaming, talking, joking, becoming agitated. Rather than illustrating these actions, I explore how their energy, rhythm and intensity can emerge through gestures and marks. I work across wood, paper and canvas, using markers, charcoal, pens, pencils and paint, sometimes introducing wool or other materials. Each surface offers a different resistance, influencing the movement of my hand and the development of the composition. The process is spontaneous and unpredictable. Lines overlap, collide, disappear and reappear. Some gestures are forceful, others hesitant, playful or repetitive. I allow the work to develop through the interaction between my physical movements, the materials and the surface, without imposing a predetermined structure or outcome. I am not interested in creating recognisable images or assigning meaning to every mark. A scribble can express anger, excitement, uncertainty or nothing in particular. It can be chaotic, delicate, absurd or contradictory. What interests me is the freedom of expression itself: the possibility of making marks without rules, without expectations and without the obligation to be understood. *Linguaggi Umani* is an exploration of human expression in its most immediate form, where the gesture becomes the language and the act of making becomes more important than what is represented.
