UTOPIE REATTIVE (2026)
Utopie Reattive explores the space between intention and response. Working across a variety of surfaces, I begin with simple marks, gestures, and traces that often resemble childhood scribbles or fragments of unfinished thoughts. Rather than following a predetermined composition, each action is guided by the material's reaction.
Absorption, staining, resistance, texture, and transparency become active participants in the process. Each surface responds differently, suggesting new possibilities and directions that could not have been planned in advance. Drawing, painting, and subtle textile interventions coexist as part of an open dialogue between artist and material.
The resulting works occupy a territory between play and reflection, structure and spontaneity. Moving across canvas, paper, and sculptural forms, the project investigates how materials can generate unexpected relationships and visual systems. Rather than representing fixed places or narratives, these works emerge as open-ended propositions—reactive utopias shaped by uncertainty, curiosity, and continuous transformation.
